News: (Montreal) First META Nominations announced (Press release)

2012-2013 MONTREAL ENGLISH THEATRE AWARDS NOMINEES

The METAs 2012-2013 Committee and Jury are pleased to announce the nominees for the inaugural awards ceremony, celebrating excellence in English theatre in Montreal.  The jury considered all registered productions from September 1, 2012 – August 31, 2013.

The METAs will be presented at a ceremony on Monday October 21st, 2013 at The Rialto Theatre (5723 avenue du Parc, Montreal) at 7pm.  The event is open to the public.  Tickets are available at www.theatrerialto.ca or by contacting the Quebec Drama Federation at 514-875-8698 (www.quebecdrama.org).  Tickets are $25 (including tax). 

Hosting the gala evening will be Montreal actors Holly Gauthier-Frankel (Miss Sugarpuss Must Die!, Schwartz’s, Salt Water Moon) and Marcel Jeannin (Guys and Dolls, God of Carnage,MöcShplat) with musical accompaniment by Montreal composer and musician Nick Carpenter.
