Though one English-language work is nominated in the touring category (Nina Arsenault's Silicone Diaries), unlike previous years, the AQCT will not be awarding prizes for locally produced English-language theatre in Quebec, though they will continue to give out prizes for both Montreal and Quebec City companies. Among nominees are the plays Jackie by Elfriede Jelinek, Roméo et Juliette, and L'Opéra de Quat' Sous (Threepenny Opera).
