The leg belongs to dancer Brianna Ray who is featured in The Collectors, choreographed by Brett Owen and running at the Winnipeg Fringe. The photo, however, is by Kendra Hope Penner who has mastered the art of the "defining image". The lighting is raw, yes, but the composition of the image - the triangle from toe to the edges of the pile of shows - is bang on. She breaks up symmetry with the placement of the central subject, but also by using the skewed stairs as background. Bottom line: you look.
