Centaur offers a varied assortment of works

Among the well-known Montrealers appearing in Centaur Theatre's 2012-13 season are actor Johanna Nutter (who continues to tour with her solo hit My Pregnant Brother) and Andrew Shaver (whose Haunted Hillbilly is one of the highly-anticipated productions later in this season at the Old Stock Exchange).
Nutter is appearing in David Lindsay Abaire's Good People - described by the Company's Artistic Director, Roy Surette, as "desperation meets affluence". Shaver, meanwhile, is directing Mark Doherty's Trad (which was presented four years ago).
Also of note in the season:- a "knockabout comedy" The Number 14, a co-production with Axis Theatre
- from Amsterdam, Dance me to the end on/off Love, inspired by music and lyrics by Leonard Cohen
- Innocence Lost: A play about Steven Truscott by Beverley Cooper. The Steven Truscott case (in 1959) - an adolescent accused of murdering a young woman - became a cause célebre for decades in this country
- August, An Afternoon in the Country, by three-time GG-winner Jean-Marc Dalpé.
Also in the season are the Brave New Looks program, Urban Tales and the Sweet 16th Wildside Festival - staples of Centaur's annual programming. Two visiting companies, Imago and Geordie, will be coming to the house as well.
