The Globe theatre presented a set of surprises and a series of plays already well-known around the country in their 2012-13 lineup.
Billy Bishop Goes to War, the iconic two-hander, and I, Claudia, the almost equally seminal young people's solo, will be featured during the year, as will a production of the Canadian musical that could, The Drowsy Chaperone. Also appearing is a production of The Wizard of Oz and the sequel to Sexy Laundry, Alice and Henry: Into The Wild (a production of which is currently enjoying a run at Arts Club in Vancouver).
Among surprises are a student production of Pride and Prejudice, Midsummer (A Play With Songs) - a work becoming somewhat of a national cult hit - and Blue Box, "terrorist" Carmen Aguirre's solo (which is also part of GCTC's next season).
