We have never done a performer's promo shot as our picture of the week, but this one came along with Bugs Burnett's profile of opera star Marie-Nicole Lemieux and it stopped us in our tracks. Denis Rouvre has taken this most down-to-earth diva and glammed her up in a glory of colour, swirls of texture and lighting that draws attention to her not-seen-in-talkshows beauty and to that hair which has become the trademark of her recitals.
