An ousting: The Manitoba Theatre for Young People has unexpectedly dismissed their artistic director and company founder, Leslee Silverman. She had been with them for 30 years.
Season announcements: The Manitoba Theatre Centre has announced their 2013-2014 season, while Soulpepper Theatre in Toronto has released the details of their upcoming spring productions.
And some money: Theatre Rusticle has announced the Patrick Conner Award, which will be a cash prize of $2500 to two honourees. Applications are due May 15.
