How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Drayton Festival Theatre If WE were in the country this hellish summer, we wouldn't hesitate to line up for this trenchant, dance-y and wonderfully tuneful show. "Brotherhood of Man", anyone?

Lillian Alling, Banff Centre There's lots of brouhaha surrounding the music of this work by composer John Istacio, but there's no doubting the size of the piece (huge) and the brilliance of it's lyricist - one well-known to theatre audiences - John Murrell. Previously produced in Vancouver, soprano Judith Forst returns to the work in its mountain-town incarnation.
