In the short three-year history of The Charlebois Post we cannot tell you how many goddam dull pictures of Little Orphan Annie and her goddam dog we have seen. But look how the brilliant photographer, Cylla von Tiedemann, has fun with Annie, opening soon at YPT. Instead of the same empty-eyed, curly-haired escapee-from-Tots-and-Tiaras about to burst into "Tomorrow", we get dark, shadow, Jenny Weisz - a real actor with a real expression on her face ("cute" is not an expression), an adorably stupid-looking dog as much a part of the photo as the star and - hell's bells! - some menace. This, for once, is an Annie we may want to see!
