Peter (Equus) Shaffer's Lettice & Lovage is a tried-and-true but a whole generation has missed out on its charms (two very different women coming to terms) and it is not at all a bad idea that Toronto's
The East Side Players are pulling this one out of mothballs.

Okay, okay, we gotta admit we first noticed Circumsize Me! because of the title. But as it turns out, this is not standard-issue one-man-show gonzo fringe-fest fare. This is the true sweet and sour journey of a Roman Catholic (Christopher) who became an Orthodox Jew (Yisrael).
The New York Times took it seriously, so we will too!
At the Harold Greenberg Jewish Theatre Company also in Toronto.
