More than just clowning around

Exit is about a clown named Alejandro who has come to Canada from Venezuela, and tells the audience his story and his impressions of the two countries.
The one-clown show is written and performed by Isaac Luy. Everything the energetic Luy does is exaggerated, so be prepared for an entire performance of clowning. But don’t expect a comedy; he talks about painful experiences in his character’s past and present, telling a compelling tale of how he ended up immigrating to Canada. If you’re not used to clowning, the show will take some getting used to, but it’s hard not to be charmed by the excitable and passionate clown.
